Mohamad Baki has more than 17 years of Strategic and Financial advisory experience focused on valuations, feasibility studies and transactions. He worked for Deloitte Financial Advisory for 10 years, 5 years for a major local firm as the Head of Investments, and 2 years as a Strategic Advisor at the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi.
In addition, Mohamad established D-one for Strategic Advisory in 2019 providing financial and strategic advisory to start-ups and SMEs.
Mohammed engaged in a variety of services including but not limited to M&A, IPO, Strategic Decision Making, Raising Funds for Startups, Corporate Financial Restructuring and Loans Structuring, among others.
He led and advised on various complex and large-scale transactions working closely with top tier Sovereign Wealth Funds, government entities and corporates with their investment portfolios including large numbers of investments spanning across Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Furthermore, Mohammed has a unique and specialized exposure having worked on various industries including but not limited to banking, construction and contracting, real estate, telecom, investment and financial companies, manufacturing, oil and gas, hospitality, aviation, educational services, agriculture, and health-care.
