Not a reply we like to hear but it is now the norm. Managing clients expectations around energy renewals is no easy thing. We feel your pain but we are the deliverers of bad news - and it hurts.
Believe me people we are trying our best but when you're dealing with something that is totally out of your control, it is a challenge.
We are in a situation where prices change on a breath. And times when they are not there at all and we have to wait for the market to calm down again.
Having received a quote for a new contract there are instances where there isn’t time to hang around and decide. Suppliers can pull quotes if there are spikes in prices and the process has to start again.

Suppliers are also more particular now as to which businesses they will provide prices for and will carry out enhanced credit checks on those they feel are at risk.

We know this situation will gradually return to some sort of normality. We just don’t know yet what that normal will be.
