There are easy interview questions and there are difficult interview questions. Perversely some of the easy ones appear difficult and some of the difficult ones appear easy.
“How good is your attention to detail?” That’s a difficult one that appears easy. Most people will answer good, very good or excellent. But if everyone gives notionally the same answer how do you stand out from the crowd, what makes you different?
Your answer is going to be, "Very good I believe, for example at ABC Ltd I was able to etc etc," where etc, etc stands for your best achievement that illustrates the required transferable skill.
What about an easy one that appears difficult? "Could you take me through a normal working day please?" The real question is, "How well does this person communicate?"
Therefore within reason it doesn’t matter what you say provided you are succinct, to the point, illustrate a degree of planning and structure, don’t waffle and avoid 'Ums and Ahs' - and of course don't forget to be enthusiastic! #proteuscareermanagement
